Saudi Arabia is now open for tourists from all over the world wishing to visit the Kingdom for the purpose of tourism. The Kingdom has recently announced this decision and has rolled out a plan on how travelers can apply for a tourist visa through a fast and easy-to-use online portal or with the embassies in their respective country.
The online visa facility, however, only applies to citizens of 49 countries.
There are two ways to apply for a tourist visa
- E-Visa or Visa on arrival
- The respective Saudi Embassy

E-Visa
A one-year, multiple-entry visa will be issued online that allows the tourist to stay in the Kingdom for 90 days in a year. It can be applied online through a very fast and easy visa portal. This facility is limited to 49 countries as below :

Visa Application with Embassy
If you are an Indian national or your country is not on the list of 49 countries mentioned above, you may make an application with the embassy of Saudi Arabia for processing.
There is a list of documents required that you need to submit with the embassy along with the application, valid passports, photographs, and Visa fees.
